Researched shortlists
Ask Few Found to research the market for you: a free request, a proposal with its fees, then a private shortlist with the evidence and its limits.
How a shortlist works
- Send a request. Free and with no commitment. Tell us the work, the market and what a provider must be able to show.
- Receive a proposal. We check whether we can do it well, then send the scope, timeline, a fixed fee and any variable fee, and what happens if we fall short.
- We research. Work starts only after you accept the proposal and the agreed fee is received.
- Get a private shortlist. Each provider with why they fit, what we checked and where, the limits of those checks, and how to reach them.
Start from Request a shortlist. You need a free business account; a request is not a purchase.
What every shortlist meets
- Distinct businesses, none from your exclusion list.
- Material claims checked against evidence, with sources and dates.
- Identity, capability and fit for your brief reported separately.
- Candidates that do not meet the brief do not count toward the agreed number.
- Being a Few Found member or Verified does not get anyone onto a shortlist, and a place on one is never sold.
- We never contact a candidate for you until you have agreed what we may say.
Fees
Every shortlist has a fixed fee, set out in the proposal before any work starts. Nothing is charged for the request itself.
A proposal may also include a variable fee per agreed event, for example each source you accept. It applies only when the proposal shows it and you accept it, and the proposal says exactly what counts, for how long, how it is invoiced and how a disputed event is settled.
A shortlist is research, not a promise: we do not guarantee that a provider accepts your work or what results they deliver. Refund rules are on Refunds.
For providers
- A place on a shortlist is never sold, and being a member or Verified does not get anyone onto one.
- Providers never pay to see or answer a brief, or per lead.
- We never contact a candidate for a business until the business has agreed what we may say.
