Sponsored places

Where a sponsored place appears, the rules that keep it apart from what is earned, and how booking one works.

Where they appear

Category pages
The top of a category, such as SEO or web development, where businesses compare providers for that kind of work.
City pages
The top of a category in one city, such as SEO in Pune.
Search
The top of the directory when a business browses that category, or that category in that city.

Never on a Top 10 list, and never in answers from AI assistants.

The rules

  • Every sponsored place says "Sponsored" on the card.
  • At most 3 sponsored places on a page on any day, and their order changes daily.
  • Your profile must already belong on the page: a matching service, and the city for a city page.
  • Reviews, ratings, verification decisions and Top 10 lists are never sold and never change because someone paid.
  • Booked for fixed dates, up to 366 days at a time, paid in advance and never renewed automatically.
  • A suspended or private profile does not show, even during a paid booking.

Booking

  1. Ask for a place from Advertise: the categories and cities you want, and when.
  2. The team checks there is a free place and sends an offer to your dashboard: page, dates and price.
  3. Accept and pay by UPI or card. The place goes live on its start date and stops on its end date.
  4. Your dashboard shows how many times your place was seen and how many clicks it got.

Rates depend on the page and the dates, and are given in each offer.
